Hidradenitis Suppurativa CME Course

The HS Institute, Dr. Paul Hazen, and Dr. Michael Reep will be hosting a Continuing Medical Education (CME) course.

The course will be entitled, "Hidradenitis Suppurativa: Update on Diagnosis, Pathogenesis, and Treatment" on Saturday morning, January 28, 2012 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am EST, a continental breakfast will be available.

The course has been accredited by the Ohio State Medical Association and the American Academy of Dermatology for 3 hours of Category 1 course credit and will be held at Lakewood Country Club in Westlake, Ohio.

The HS CME is something we are taking up to show residents-in-training, nurses, and physicians a general knowledge of hidradenitis suppurativa and new treatments for the disease. This is something that we are going to try and do annually, to help raise the awareness and knowledge of HS. The cost is yet to be determined. We are presently looking for sponsors for the event.

If you're someone suffering with HS, tell your physician treating you to contact us and inquire about the CME. The registration deadline is January 21, 2012. An idea of the course is below (all times are EST):
